KINDERGARTEN PLACEMENT

kinder_bike.JPGOur program sends children on to kindergarten ready to learn. They know how to get along in a group, how to listen, and how to express themselves. Their curiosity is intact, and they approach new material with confidence and interest. They have the solid grasp of physical relationships that comes from ample opportunity to experiment with the physical world. They are adept with spoken language and intrigued by written language. They have age-appropriate reading, writing and math skills; some have begun to read by the time they leave us.

We are available to each family for advice and support throughout the kindergarten application process. We hold a meeting each spring in which parents who have just completed the process for their children speak with those who are about to embark on it.
